El Gran escritor y periodista Vázquez Montalbán, con Carvalho se reconcilió con la Barcelona postolímpica: el detective se iba a bañar en la Barceloneta en El hombre de mi vida. en todas las novelas de la serie Carvalho encontramos alguna referencia gastronómica, en este caso hemos encontrado una reseña de nuestro restaurante donde realzaba el arroz con epardenyes que se tomaba Margalida (protagonista de una de sus novelas policiacas de Carvalho).
